My Story

Salentum Heritage Collection is a project of an Italian family-run company (Mpar Srl), which was born from the need to manage and promote the family heritage.
After the restoration of the Relais il Mignano and the Relais Monastero Santa Teresa in Nardo', the family decided to move in 2017 from Paris to the beautiful city of Nardo', which enjoys a unique architecture, rich in ancient palaces, towers, castles, monumental gardens, natural parks and 23 km of coastline with an uncontaminated sea.
Initially we asked ourselves many questions, what will we do in a city in the south of the Salento peninsula.
Salento has always been a land of welcome for Greeks, Romans, Swedes, Normans, Jews, Spaniards, French, open-minded with open arms to welcome.
So all this translates into a return to the origins for Antonello Rizzello while for Celine Cazenave and her children the beginning of the Dolce Vita.
In 2018 the restoration of Palazzo Manieri was also completed, a splendid noble palace with a large garden where the family moved permanently.
Also in 2018 he founded together with other members of ancient families who owned historic buildings, the Dimore Storiche Neretine Association, in order to create cultural events in the different historic houses.
Today the collection has been enriched thanks to the new purchases and recovery of historic properties, in the neighboring cities of Galatone, Galatina and Copertino.
